Nothing is sold or booked through this site, so there is no form and no queue behind one. The ten walks described here are led by independent local guides and listed on GuruWalk and freetour.com, and every reservation happens there, with the guide who runs the walk. One email address does the rest. Corrections, new suggestions and outright disagreement all get read, and a short message usually works best.

Not every message carries the same weight. The kinds below are the ones that change pages, because they flag something a page states wrongly or a Milan walk this site has overlooked. If a message fits one of these, send it.

• Details drift. A start time moves, a meeting point changes, a route drops a stop near the Duomo or adds one along the Navigli. When a page here no longer matches the walk on GuruWalk or freetour.com, say so and it gets fixed. No price can go stale, because every walk is free and pay what you want.
• A walk that has vanished or quietly changed shape. A guide sometimes stops taking bookings, drops the Galleria from the route, or runs the walk in Spanish only. Send the walk's name and what happened. If it holds up, the page comes down or gets corrected the same day.
• If a free-entry rule is wrong, say which day it actually applies. Same if a church that asks for a donation is described as free, or a landmark is placed in the wrong neighbourhood. Facts of that kind here are checked against primary sources, never a guide's own marketing.
• A walk that is missing from these pages. If a free pay-what-you-want walk in Milan is bookable right now on GuruWalk or freetour.com and appears nowhere here, send the link. It will be read on the same terms as everything else. No guide pays for inclusion, and no guide can pay for placement.
• Most questions about the walks and free entry at Milan's churches are answered in the FAQ and the guides.

After You Write

Every message gets read by a person, one at a time. A correction, a moved meeting point, a start time that no longer holds, goes to the front of the queue, because stale details can waste a visitor's only free morning in Milan. Broader questions wait their turn, and some get answered as a guide instead of a reply. No mailing list exists to join, and an address is never sold, shared or kept past the answer.

What We Cannot Do

Booking a place, changing a date or letting one go is not something this site can do. Each walk belongs to the local guide who leads it, and every reservation, waitlist and cancellation runs through that guide on GuruWalk or freetour.com. These walks cost nothing up front; whatever you tip at the end goes directly to the guide. This site only describes walks, holds no places and moves no money, so writing here about a confirmed spot will not change it.

For anything already booked, start with the confirmation email, not with a message here. It holds the booking reference, the meeting point and a direct line to the guide leading the walk. A late start, a group nobody can find, a meeting point shifted at short notice: only the guide can sort those out, because the walk is theirs. Writing the same question here only adds a detour.

Before writing to anyone about a booking, reread two lines in the confirmation. One is the meeting point, given precisely: a named piazza, a corner, a statue, a church door. Vague meeting spots are where groups fall apart. The other is the cancellation window, which varies from walk to walk, and a free place is still a place another visitor could take. On both counts the guide leading the walk decides, not this site.
